    I. Call to Order

The Regular Weekly Marianopolis Student Union (MSU) Congress Meeting of February 16, 2018, was convened at 4:19 P.M. by President Ramiz A. Razzak.

    II. Roll Call of Members

The MSU Congress Members who are present at this meeting are: David Cao, Yiwen Chen, Neil Cordingley, Meghan Couture, Elizabeth Hua, Jasmine Kotsiopoulos, Abhinav Pal, Ramiz A. Razzak, Veronica Rodighiero, Jia Rong Shao, Yi Sen Wang, and Linda Zhu

           A. Guests presented by Ramiz A. Razzak

The guests who are present at this meeting are: Wenxin She, a representative from the Marianopolis World Review, and Trudy Ste-Croix, and Kristen Whitelaw, the Student Services Representatives.

    III.Approval of last meeting’s Minutes

The Minutes of the Regular Weekly MSU Congress Meeting of February 9, 2018 were written by Jasmine Kotsiopoulos. These Minutes were approved by Ramiz A. Razzak on the 16th of February, 2018.

    IV. Approval of the Agenda

The Agenda of this day’s meeting has been unanimously approved.

    V. Unfinished Business and General Orders

           A. End of Year Party presented by Veronica Rodighiero

Veronica explained that we should keep École Privée as an option but continue to look into other venues for the end of year party to keep as options.  Veronica will get an answer from each of the venues by Friday.

           B. Dating, Mating, and Relating Fair Report presented by Elizabeth Hua and Linda Zhu

The fair went very well.   There were many students who showed up and there were no problems with any of the events.

           C. Mid-Semester Party presented by Veronica Rodighiero

Veronica is still waiting for a contract from the owner of the venue to confirm the venue for the party. 

           D. ACF Movie License presented by Trudy Ste-Croix

Motion to renew the ACF Movie License – Failed (12 votes no)

           E. Tire sur Neige presented by Meghan Couture

Due to the poor weather, the event was cancelled.  We are looking into rescheduling the event.

Motion to have two free food days in the same week – Failed (4 votes yes, 8 votes yes)

    VI. New Business

           A. Finance presented by Ramiz A. Razzak and Michael Di Giorgio

Abhinav will be finishing up his work for Budget Allocations
